1973 Series 111 88" CSW with a Defender front. It has all seven seats plus a cubby box and a full roof lining. free wheeling hubs, over drive ( which works perfectly) 3.3 ltr diesel which pulls like a horse. 12 mths mot from Saturday 16th Jan 2010. In January I had the welding done to the top of the bulk head and the door posts plus the centre x member. The rest of the chassis is in very good condition. I also replaced All the shock absorbers, All the brake shoes, All the wheel cylinders, The rear lamp lenses, neg battery lead, Mud flaps, ( the front ones have not been fitted yet) Spare wheel carrier Complete door tops, Door hinges including all captive nut and bolts, Most of the bulbs, and had rewiring done to the front. Last year the springs and the swivels were replaced. Five new tyres and white modular wheels were put on. The original wheels and tyres are in the sale of the vehicle. The interior is in reasonable condition. It has a stereo but no speakers. All the door locks work. The spot lights work but are not wired up. I was going to have it re sprayed but was advised not to as a new owner may prefer to see it's honest present state therefore there is some primer on show.
You might ask why I am selling this vehicle after doing all this work.
Well the answer is simple. I bought this vehicle in November with a view to renewing some parts and have a good off roader . Unfortunately I now discover that having done lots to it ,
I can't actually see out as I am too tall.
So it is for sale and I will look for a 90 or something else more suitable.

This Land rover has now been sold - Thanks for looking
